Metallica, the legendary rock band, is teaming up with Fortnite for an epic virtual concert event titled Metallica: Fuel Fire Fury. Players can experience the concert on June 22 at 2 pm, 5 pm, and 11 pm ET, as well as June 23 at 10 am, 2 pm, and 5 pm ET. The concert will feature a custom stage designed using Unreal Editor by the tech studio Magnopus, with the band performing a selection of their iconic hits like Ride the Lightning and Enter Sandman.
As part of Fortnite's Festival Season 4 (running from June 13 to August 16), players can dive into a "full Metallica experience." This includes the chance to unlock character icons representing band members James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo. The Metallica theme expands beyond the Festival mode, with special content available in Fortnite's other popular modes like Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, and Rocket Racing.
Fans can also collect exclusive Metallica-inspired cosmetics, including outfits and instruments, and participate in special Metallica-themed quests throughout the season.
